Islam & AI

Islamic knowledge, answered with sources you can check.

The Islamic knowledge platform I founded. Live today as a focused assistant; the backend — Qur'an + 600k hadith RAG, memory, and deep research — is what I'm building next.

A knowledge platform, not a chatbot that guesses

Live today  The assistant

A focused LLM assistant for Islamic questions. Every answer carries a citation to the source it came from — a Qur'an verse, a hadith, a scholarly reference — so you can check it yourself instead of trusting a confident paragraph.

In development  The backend

RAG over the Qur'an + 600k+ hadith, multilingual NLP, OCR, memory, and deep research. Not query-time chunk retrieval — a knowledge base where contradictions get settled before they reach you.

Built to refuse to fabricate

References, not generated Arabic

Scripture is never regenerated from a model's weights. It is retrieved and cited — because a paraphrase of the Qur'an is not the Qur'an.

No rulings

This is an educational resource, not a fatwa service. Where scholars disagree, the disagreement is shown rather than hidden — and hard questions are pointed back to qualified scholars.

Not just chat — memory and deep research (coming soon)

Everyone ships chat. The differentiators are memory and deep, detailed research on a paid tier — understanding what a user has asked before, and doing the multi-source work a single answer can't.

Two lines of work became ISNAD

Islam & AI existed first — an Islamic knowledge platform. Separately, I spent years engineering multi-agent AI systems. The trust problem the product surfaced, combined with that systems work, is what merged into ISNAD — the open-source framework that grades every agent and model in a claim's transmission chain, adapted from 1,200 years of hadith science.

The product asked "should I trust this answer?" The framework answers it.
